The first step is to get training. The alliance has several different paths for you to choose from when you are getting your certification. One of those paths is the Learning paths which will train you to learn all that there is to know about networks and how they work. You will have classes in network security and be able to have theoretical knowledge but will not get hands-on experience with any of the material that is provided. The other path is the labs which will allow you to work with actual equipment.
If you don’t want to start at the bottom you can start with the Intermediate level if you find that the learning paths are too challenging for you. The exams for the Atlassian Professional ACP certification are all on-line so you can sit down at your computer at home anytime that you want. Plus the courses are all supported by the community. You will never be left behind or sent home because of a slow internet connection. Plus you will get more support along the way.
Once you complete any of the courses you are going to need to take an exam. There are two different exams that you can take. One is a multiple choice exam and the other is a written exam. The multiple choice exam will allow you to find the answers to the questions that will be on the exam.
Once you have completed the course, there are a number of things that you can do. First you will want to get a job and figure out where you are going to get your qualifications from.
