What is the Scrum Master’s role in fostering a sense of purpose, autonomy, and mastery in teams? When a team is engaging with a new project, for instance, within its team structure, three fundamental ideas come into play. These are: 1. A process-oriented thought process in the design of the team 2. A team-oriented and method-oriented thinking of the team To complete the first point, we must understand why we think back to what the team saw the project bring. Let’s look at these in a nutshell: 1. Why we want to spend our time thinking about how the team could benefit from a project 2. What are the types of processes that will help the management process in the team What are some of the types of ways that a team could benefit from the project? 3. How many of each type of team processes should we consider? 4. How many more team processes should we consider when deciding which type of team process the team should start with?
